it was a good run

Welp, I use to have a website for a few years, but this year's renewal fee was a few hundred dollars more than I was willing to pay. So, here I am, with a standard blog, ready to jump back into what should be a fun year all around.

About a year ago my work horse of a laptop finally died and since I've been unable to really do anything. No designing, no gaming, no YouTubing (save for some random vlogs), no nothing. That's going to change the moment the gove'ment giva me mah check.

I've got my eyes on a monster laptop that will give me the ability to do everything I want to do and more. What kind of stuff? Designing, gaming, YouTubing (with more non-random vlogs) and a few surprises.

I have had a CafePress shop since 2004, and I would have done a 10 Year Anniversary thing last year but I didn't have access to any way to design so I'm doing a 10 Year +1 promotion to kick off being back in the swing of things. This will include a spin on 7 Days of Merchandise where I would add a new design every day for 7 days straight. Of course I have a massive backlog of designs I want to do so I may make it 30 days or something monstrous to get back into the swing of designing regularly.

Since there are a lot of designs that don't sell or just don't work anymore (the Charot's Corner stuff for example) I'll be removing items - or better yet, voting to keep items around. Something like March Madness with less basketball and less controversy.

Right before my laptop found it's way to the clearing at the end of the road, I had bought a few games, including the second season of Telltale's Walking Dead and Spelunky. Since then I bought a few more on sale so I'm itching to play. Fallout 3: New Vegas is at the top of my list of games to dive into but I also was lucky enough to grab all three Bioshocks (for $10!!) and can't wait to find my way back into Rapture. I rushed through the tail end of the first game and never got a chance until now to grab the other two, so I'm majorly excited. Also on the list of games I can't wait to sink my teeth into: Starbound and Payday: The Heist.

I played a ton of Terreria but it began to get real grindy and boring so when Starbound came out I picked it up but it never ran correctly for me. I've been watching it progress for months and can't wait to jump in arms flailing and guns blasting! As for Payday, I just want a goofy game that I can jump in with people and have a good time, plus it was free... seriously - free.

Most of the games, and then some, will be recorded and ploped up on Youtube, along with a return to vlogging. I have a camera mount for the car, but I haven't used it lately because I find that there's a ton of stuff I need to edit and arrange and currently can't do that. I miss editing dumb ass videos together, and now that I'll be able to add gaming footage back in, expect some crazy stuff - including a Minecraft series with my daughter where she take the reins and we do what she wants to - should be a blast.

On top of all of that I still have some stuff hiding up my sleeve and things I still haven't thought about yet. I'm thinking about doing an old school wrestling podcast because let's face it there isn't enough of those floating around. It boils down to the fact that I have been watching a ton of old school stuff on a free month of the WWE Network and if you follow me on Twitter you've seen me live tweeting my reactions to the matches and it's been fun to do it. I mean, come on Arn Anderson vs Ric Flair - 1995 Faw Brawl is an amazing match!

So, expect a ton of new stuff out of this blog and my YouTube channel! To keep up to date on all things me, my Twitter is a thing, too. MAH TWITTAH!!
